  • Simple Shifts to Lift Your Energy

    Sep 24, 2025

We all have those days. The ones where our energy is low, our mood is heavy, and our thoughts start spiraling into negativity. It’s natural—life has its ups and downs. But the good news is, you have more power than you think to shift your mindset. With just a few intentional practices, you can reboot your thoughts and redirect your energy toward what feels lighter, brighter, and better.

At the end of the day, it comes down to one thing: focusing on the good in your life.

     Ways to Reboot Your Thoughts

    • Pause and Breathe
When your mind feels cluttered, take a few deep breaths. A simple pause interrupts the spiral and creates space for clarity.
    • Find One Thing to Appreciate
Gratitude is the fastest way to reset your thinking. Even something small—like your morning coffee, a kind text, or a beautiful view—can shift your focus.
    • Move Your Body
A quick walk, stretching, or even dancing to your favorite song can release stagnant energy and help reset your perspective.
    • Reframe the Narrative
Ask yourself: What else could be true here? This simple question helps you see possibilities instead of problems.
    • Surround Yourself with Uplifting Inputs
Listen to music that makes you smile, read something inspiring, or connect with someone who brings out your best.

Action Items for Your Mental Reset

    1. Start each day by writing down three things you’re grateful for.
    2. Schedule a “mindful minute” break in your day to breathe and reset.
    3. Choose one activity (movement, music, or conversation) that reliably lifts your energy—and keep it handy for low-energy moments.
    4. Practice reframing one negative thought into a possibility-focused one each day.

    The Wise Woman says . . .

Low-energy days are part of being human, but they don’t have to define you. By pausing, practicing gratitude, moving your body, reframing your thoughts, and surrounding yourself with positivity, you can reboot your mindset anytime. Remember—focusing on the good doesn’t mean ignoring challenges, it means choosing to anchor yourself in what’s working, what’s possible, and what lights you up.
